Jack was born in Fort Wayne, IN and grew up in Grand Rapids, MI. He is a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Jack spent the last 8 years in Richmond, VA working in Finance and recently relocated back to Grand Rapids to be closer to his family. He is excited to be working at The Job Post. Outside of work Jack enjoys friends and family, food, working out, aviation studies, and documentaries.

Why Jack works at The Job Post:
I am passionate about helping others in any way that I can to achieve one of their goals which is suitable long-term employment. In addition, making sure they feel part of a team, and that their voice and overall wellbeing matters.
Favorite part of the job:
The ability to stay connected in the Guiding Light Recovery community while also connecting with people in conversations outside of it.
Freetime fun:
I enjoy giving back to the community with every opportunity that I have. I practice self-compassion through traveling, nature, reading or watching anything about aviation, going to museums, documentaries and I try to have as many laughs as I possibly can each day.
Favorite The Job Post experiences:
I really feel that the individuals currently in the program, the staff of Guiding Light Recovery and the staff of The Job Post are a part of my family. So, if I had to pick just one, it would be lunch because we all have an opportunity to sit down and enjoy a meal together.
Favorite place to eat:
I tend to not eat out, so I would have to say at home.

What brings you JOY to do? My answer to that is to always talk with people and find a connection with them big or small.
