What Cat does at The Job Post:

Creative Development

Why Cat works at The Job Post:

I chose this job because I resonate with the mission. I have had close family members struggle with addiction. The same family members have also been to jail and committed crimes that throw a wrench into the life plan. I like being able to help people who remind me so much of my family who have now been fortunate enough to make good choices and be the incredible people they are today.

Favorite part of the job:

My favorite part of the job is the people I get to work with. What we do is serious work but the people around here don’t take themselves too seriously making it a fun place to work while doing something good for the community.

Freetime fun:

Some of my favorite things to do outside of work are read and go on walks in my neighborhood. I also spend lots of time hanging out with my roommates and building new relationships.

Favorite The Job Post experiences:

I love being able to engage with the community at events representing Guiding Light and The Job Post.

Favorite place to eat:

Tupelo Honey

Favorite GLR lunch question:

If you could know the answer to one question, what would it be?
I chose the question “what is the key to happiness” because more often than not we find ourselves wondering how people are so happy and wanting that kind of joy in our lives. Happiness is definitely subjective but I have always been curious if there is one common denominator that has an effect on all humans around the world and brings us immense joy.

Adjectives that describe Cat:

Outgoing, empathetic, passionate, funny, and ambitious.

One of Cat’s quirky loves:

I love musicals! I am a huge musical theatre nerd.
