The Job Post is making a splash in local news thanks to its partnership with the Goodwill Offender Success Program. It’s no secret that The Job Post is a felony friendly staffing agency. By partnering with Goodwill, The Job Post is able to give even more felons the tools and opportunities to get back to work.
Participants who take part in Goodwill’s offender reentry programs get valuable career coaching and preparation, including help with creating resumes and practicing for interviews. They are then referred to The Job Post, where we connect offenders with jobs that fit their skills, interests, and needs.
In addition to the numerous former offenders already placed in jobs through The Job Post, this partnership has placed 10 individuals from Goodwill’s programs in positions that pay a living wage – all in its first three months.
“Everybody deserves that chance to have the same opportunity as anyone else who doesn’t have a felony on their record,” says April Harrell, Talent Director at The Job Post.
