JOB DESCRIPTION
Located at the Grand Rapids, MI Lumbermen’s facility. This position will be operating machinery and product management while assisting customers with selection and loading and day-to-day responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Natural detail-orientation and accuracy
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to consistently meet production deadlines
KEY QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Construction background a plus
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred
- Knowledge of shop mathematics including fractions and decimals
- Ability to accurately pull orders and load/unload trucks
- Ability to read blueprints/sketches and design in the absence of these resources
- High School diploma/GED required
- Prior sales and/or retail experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Able to reach, grasp, bend, and stoop
- Able to be on feet 8 hours per day
- Able to lift up to 100 lbs. repetitively/continuously
- Able to transition easily between indoor and outdoor work in all weather conditions
