JOB SUMMARY
- Looking for lawn maintenance team members. We value collaboration, problem-solving, reliability, and professionalism. This role involves working as a part of a lawn maintenance team typically performing a variety of tasks, which may include but are not limited to the following: mowing, edging, trimming, trimming, watering, digging, shoveling, raking, and other similar tasks. This position will be responsible for spring and fall clean-ups and weekly mowing of residential and commercial properties throughout the seasons, as well as planting trees around the city in the fall season. In the winter months, team members will perform snow removal tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enhance curb appeal and beautify outdoor spaces
- Candidates will be working with commercial lawnmowers and small equipment like string trimmers, edgers, and backpack blowers
- Candidate will need to be able to work outside for 8-10 hours a day, Monday through Friday
- Occasionally will need to work Saturdays
- Safely and efficiently operate landscape machines and tools, as well as snow and ice management tools and equipment
- Full-time, year-round career opportunities that transition into snow removal and other tasks in the winter.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver’s license and insurance, with reliable transportation
- Ability to drive provided work truck with trailer and equipment, as applicable
- Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Experience working in a team environment
- Some customer service experience
- Responsible, self-motivating and a team player
- Be on time and follow dress code policy
- Maintain expected work pace for productivity standards
- Be respectful to peers and supervisors
- Willingness to learn
- 1-year experience in the landscape/lawn maintenance industry
- Actively manage and maintain safety on the job site
- Manage tools and supplies
Hours: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
